Enjoy they journey and hope to share as well your yoga and acroyoga journey with us.

First of all, how to get to Spain and more concretely how to arrive near Sitges area or better said Barcelona province. If you are already near us and want to know how to get to our yoga & acroyoga retreat in Sitges check this other post.

Unless you are coming from a neighbourhood country, like France or even Andorra, where the train, bus, car... could be options, your best way to reach the beautiful coastal town of Sitges is by plane, arriving to one of the three main international airports in the Portuguese Iberian Peninsula:

  • El Prat Josep Tarradellas Barcelona International Airport (15 km. from Barcelona and 28 km. from Sitges): your best option to get to Barcelona and to us. Barcelona Airport is the second most important one in Spain, with connections worldwide including many destinations in Europe and others in America.

  • Reus Airport (71 km. from Sitges): this could be your second option, if your home city has direct flights to this airport almost 45 minutes away from Sitges. Mainly low cost airlines are operating in this one. Nearby you can find other attractions (Port Aventura theme park), cities (Tarragona, Salou...) or even natural Parks (Delta de l'Ebre).

For international train tickets, check the Spanish company Renfe, more in their website (click here). This is as well the main operator for national train trips, in case you are coming from Madrid or Valencia for example. For long distance trips, it is better to book in advance since seats can be designated in advance and they are limited, moreover you may even get a considerable discount on your fare. To explore more budget-friendly routes within the Spanish train system, you may want to consider checking Trainline (click here).

If you are coming from further away cities in Spain, as Málaga, Sevilla or Bilbao, it would be better to book in advance a cheap flight directly to Barcelona. Otherwise those cities by car/train could be a trip of more than six hours. The main airplane company for this fares is Vueling (click here).

Another way chosen by people visiting our country is the rent a car. Spain has several rent a car companies operating through all the country. From the more international ones (Europcar, AVIS, Budget...), low cost (OK rent a car...) and national ones. This option will not only give you the possibility to arrive fast and convenient to our retreat place, but as well the possibility to move totally free around the country and visit many other places not far form Barcelona: Valencia (3 hours), Pirineos (3-4 hours depending on which area), Costa Brava (1-2 hours), etc. or even longer distances if you are doing a Spanish roundtrip (Madrid, Sevilla, Málaga, etc.).

Almost as last option and probably the least preferred since it can be a very long trip: the bus. There are many companies operating within Spain and internationally, but Flixbus is one of the biggest. There are usually no problems with booking the day before or day in advance.

Last but not least, car sharing has become a trendy option in Spain as in many other countries in the world. The main option in Spain is the French company called: BlaBlaCar. Another option is to rent a car from private persons, in that case SocialCar could be a good option. In both cases, make sure you are booking to someone that has already some reviews and is trusty.
