About the Pose
A variation of Throne, that once mastered, will allow you to connect to many other poses: Mermaid, Pidgeon, Ninja, Secretary, etc.
❌ Base needs to bend the knees so that the flyer can come into a straight back position easier. Otherwise once up in the position is going to be hard for the flyer to sit straight.
Option 1 + shortcut! Connect hands during all the transitions, only release them once the flyer has a straight back. Have a look from both video perspectives. Check the shortcut at the end of the video as well!
Option 2! This time use a F2H (Foot to Hands) grip to do the transition. Very important base arm straight and flyer leg push into it. One side at each time, secure the grip and slowly to the pose.
Base’s feet should be into the knee pit, not in the middle of the flyers' thigh! Flyers’ grip is not behind base legs but from the front! And really push with the point of your feet into base calf, secure yourself! If it hurts, the base will tell you.
🔚Base bends knees, both connect hands, strong arms for support. One after the other, release the grip and place the base foot back to Front Bird, for example.
